A US judge today ordered six federal agencies to re -employ thousands of employees that the administration of President Donald Trump has been in the framework of his program to reduce the size of the government, according to the New York Times.
According to the newspaper, Judge William considered the argument of the “weak performance” that the Trump administration relied on to carry out these mass demobilization operations as a “trick that aims to evade legal requirements” to lay off these employees.
The judge issued this ruling on the basis of a lawsuit filed by employee unions.
He ordered the ministries of treasury and old warriors affairs, agriculture, defense, energy and interior to return each employee who illegally separated to his job.
“For a sad day, our government will separate a good employee and claim that it does this based on his performance, and she knows very well that this is a lie,” Alsoub said during a hearing in San Francisco.
Since his return to the White House on January 20, Trump has launched a fierce campaign against the federal government as he reduced spending programs and separated tens of thousands of its employees.
His procedures were met with the rejection of the judicial body, as it issued several courts to stop their implementation.
