Official media in Iran reported that the Foreign Ministry summoned today, Thursday, British, France and Germany’s envoys due to what it described as “the exploitation of the United Nations Security Council to hold a closed meeting” on Tehran’s nuclear program.
On Wednesday, Britain threatened to seek to re -impose United Nations sanctions on Iran, if necessary, to prevent it from developing a nuclear weapon, at a time when the UN Security Council held a meeting to discuss an increase in Tehran for its uranium stock, which is close to the degree of purity necessary to manufacture a nuclear weapon.
Iran denied its desire to develop a nuclear weapon, and said its nuclear program is dedicated to peaceful purposes.
However, the International Atomic Energy Agency said that Iran has recently increased from enriched uranium by a purpose of 60 percent, which approaches the percentage to manufacture a nuclear weapon, which is 90 percent.
