The General Directorate of Meteorology reported that strong rainfall, domestic, thunderstorms, snowfall on the highlands exceeding 1800 m, and strong local winds, starting from Thursday to tomorrow, Saturday, with a number of regions of the Kingdom.
The Directorate explained, in a warning bulletin of the “orange” vigilance level, that it is expected to record strong rain, locally thunderstorm, from 50 to 70 mm in both the Larache, Wazzan, Tangier-Asilah, Tetouan, Chefchaouen and Al-Hoceima, and from 40 to 50 mm in both the Strait-Fnideq, Al-Fashah-Anjar, Taounate, Taza, Sidi Qasim and Quneitra, and from 25 to 40 mm in each of Bani Mellal, Ifrane, Khenifra, Berrechid, Madianna, Casablanca, Benslimane, Settat, Temara-Skhirat, Salé, Safi, Al-Jadida, Sidi Bennour, Muhammadiyah, Al-Nouir, Rabat, Essaouira, Agadir-Edotanan, Taroudant and Cotuka-Ait Baha, starting from Thursday at six in the evening until tomorrow, Friday at three o’clock.
The bulletin also expected snowfalls that may reach 50 cm thick on the highlands that exceed 1,800 meters in each of the Azilal, Erban and Al -Hoceima regions, starting from Thursday at nine in the evening until tomorrow, Saturday, at ten in the morning.
She continued that snowfalls may reach 30 cm thick on the highlands that exceed 2000 meters, which will accuse Taroudant, Midelt, Tinghir, Safro, Shishawah, Khenifra, Beni Mellal, Taza, Ouarzazate, Al -Haouz, Karsif and Putman, starting from Thursday at nine in the evening until tomorrow, Saturday, at six in the morning.
The Directorate indicated that strong local winds (from 70 to 85 km/hour) will concern the workers and provinces of the examination-Anjar, Larache, Tangier-Asilah, Tetouan, Al-Mudayq-Al-Fanidq, Rabat, Temara-Skhirat, Quneitra, Salé, Al-Nouir, Madinouna, Casablanca, Muhammadiyah, Berrechid, Benslimane, Sidi Bennour, Al-Jadida, Safi, Starting today, Thursday, at four in the afternoon until tomorrow, Friday, at nine in the morning.
It was recorded that the phenomenon itself will concern the workers and provinces of Chefchaouen, Al-Hoceima, Jarada, Al-Nador, Al-Dariush, Jeddah-Anjad, Taourirt, Karsif, Al-Hajeb, Fez, Moulay Yaqoub, Meknes, Berkane, Erban, Pullman, Safrou, Taza, Khenifra, Midelt and Vikik, starting from Thursday at four o’clock in the afternoon until tomorrow, Friday at seven in the evening.
