
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported today, Thursday, that the Internal Security Forces managed to seize a “Inter” car carrying weapons and ammunition in the town of Khirbet Al -Teen Nour in the western countryside of Homs.
According to the sources of the observatory, the driver of the car and one of his companions succeeded in escaping through the mountainous roads, while his assistant was arrested and taken to the investigation center inside the city.
While the shipment of weapons that were seized to one of the Hezbollah warehouses located in the western countryside of Homs, which were confiscated by arms, some of them were elements in the Syrian regime’s army after its fall.
Public security patrols are deployed intensively within the villages of the western and southern countryside of Homs, adjacent to the Syrian -Lebanese border in anticipation of any arms smuggling operations in coordination between the remnants of the regime and Hezbollah, according to the observatory.
