The “Morocco Book Award” withheld three varieties in the current year 2025, as it announced that no prizes in “social sciences”, “literary, artistic and linguistic studies” and “children’s literature and adolescents” were awarded by a decision of the jury headed by the academy Rahma Bourqia, and its branches were chaired by Wafaa Al -Amrani in the class of poetry, Ahmed Balati in the narration, Abd al -Ilah Benimelih in the humanities of the science In the social sciences, Aziz Lamawi in translation, Ezz Al -Din Al -Shunnov in literary, linguistic and artistic studies, Rashid by Abdaloui in the Amazigh literature and studies, and Muhammad Sousan in the class of children’s literature and adolescents.
He won the poetry award equally in the fifty -fifth session of the “Morocco Book Award” presented by the Ministry of Culture, by Idris Al -Miliani for his office, “Ghee Al -Kamama”, issued by Somakram, and Mohamed Aziz Al -Husaini for his book “Kgiam under the arches”, issued by the House of Poetry in Morocco.
As for the “narration prize”, Saeed won it, affiliated with his novel, “Soup with Ward Maron”, issued by the Lines and Shadows House for Publishing and Distribution in Jordan.
While the “Humanities Award” was awarded equally to both Hisham Al -Rikik for his book “Al -Mallah space and urbanism inspired by the Dhimma contract”, issued by the International University of Rabat and the Academy of the Kingdom of Morocco, and Samir Ait Omghar on his book “Water and City in North Africa in the Roman era”, issued by the International University of Rabat and the Kingdom of Morocco Academy in cooperation with the Alan de Lev Center for Jewish Studies at the University of California in Los Angeles.
The translation award, Hassan Al -Talib, was crowned for his translation from French into Arabic, the book “Demon of theory, Literature, Lick and Registration” by Antoine Cambabyon, issued by the new United Book House in Beirut.
And awarded the “Berber Culture Prize” to Arabic Momosh for his book “La Phrase Complexe en Amazighe, Les Circonstancielles”, issued by the Amazigh Center for Translation and Training in Agadir. And he won the “Amazigh Literature” award, Fouad Azharwal, for his anecdotal collection: “ⵉⵍⴷⵊⵉⴳⵏ ⵓⵔ ⴳ ⵜⴳⵔⵙⵜ ⵜⴳⵔⵙⵜ” (Flowers do not grow in the winter), which was printed in the Eastern Eastern Equipment Press in Rabat.
It is noteworthy that the number of books that were accepted to compete in the 55th session is one of the most prominent awards that culminate in scientific and literary books in Morocco, 86 books, including 7 in poetry, 24 in narration, 9 in human sciences, 10 in social sciences, 16 in literary, artistic and linguistic studies, 12 in the translation class, a book in the category of Amazigh cultural studies, writings in Amazigh literature, 5 works in literature Children and adolescents.
