An Israeli bombing targeting the headquarters of the Islamic Jihad movement in Damascus

Today, Thursday, an Israeli raid targeted a headquarters of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement in the Dummer project area, northwest of Damascus, which resulted in martyrs and wounded. Local sources confirmed to “Al -Arabi Al -Jadeed” that the attack targeted a residential house near the Hamsho roundabout in the Dummer project, while Reuters quoted two Syrian security sources as saying that the raid targeted a Palestinian figure. Local networks broadcast the effects of the Israeli raid that targeted the house in the Dummer project area.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said, “At least a person was killed as a result of the Israeli aircraft targeting two missiles in a destroyed project.” For his part, Israeli Security Minister Yisrael Katz confirmed a raid on Damascus, adding, “We will not allow Syria to become a threat.”

Yesterday, Israeli media had reported a news about the planning of Hamas elements in southern Syria on the occupied Golan Heights.

Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation forces continued their violations in southern Syria, as the countryside of Quneitra Governorate witnessed, last night, a new mobilization in several military sites in the region. Local sources told Al -Arabi Al -Jadeed that an Israeli military force entered the vicinity of Al -Saqri secrecy on the Peace Road in Quneitra Governorate, while another force penetrated into a military company near the town of Jaba in the Central Quneitra countryside. These areas witnessed drilling and bulldozing operations carried out by the occupation forces in the targeted sites.

In another incident, the Israeli occupation soldiers shot a herd of sheep in the village of Al -Rafid in the countryside of Quneitra, which led to the death of between 75 to 100 sheep. The people in the Yarmouk Basin area, in the western countryside of Daraa, installed ambushes yesterday, Wednesday, in the vicinity of the village of Koya to prevent the incursions of Israeli forces that are repeated through specific outlets. The people of the Quneitra countryside also confronted an attempt to enter Israeli aid, which was on its way from the town of Hadar to the town of Urna, expressing their rejection of any form of normalization with the occupation.

Through their repeated incursions into southern Syria, the Israeli occupation forces prohibited the fall of the Bashar al -Assad regime on the eighth of last December 2024, farmers and beekeepers from irrigating their crops in the Yarmouk Valley near the village of Ma’ra, west of Daraa, and forced them to remove their agricultural equipment from the area.

The regions of southern Syria are witnessing repeated incursions into the Israeli occupation forces interspersed with systematic operations to bulldozing houses and agricultural lands, on the pretext that they were military sites belonging to the former Syrian regime forces. On Wednesday morning, the Israeli occupation forces penetrated in the countryside of Quneitra Governorate, south of Syria, adjacent to the occupied Golan, and stormed civilian homes in the town of Jabata Al -Khashab, in an escalation added to a series of continuous violations.
