The upcoming Amazigh Activists anticipated next April to revive the “Amazigh Spring”, by forming two blocs, one in Marrakech and another in the capital Rabat, with different symbols.
The “Tafiaout Nimazen” initiative, which is mobilizing for a protest march on April 20 in the capital, seeks to commemorate the 45th anniversary of the Berber Spring, to bear the name of the Amazigh thinker Mohamed Shafiq, which was considered by sources from within the Amazigh movement, “the honored conglomerate of Shafiq in Rabat, in exchange for those wishing to establish the Amazigh party in Marrakech.”
On the other hand, the expected march of Marrakech on the same day aims to protest against the conditions of those affected by the Hawz earthquake, and their continued suffering under the tents.
Sources in the Amazigh movement indicate that this division “embodies the manifestations of the Amazigh movement crisis, which is not organized, which was previously sought by trying to form a national political organization in order to secrete its militant forms democratically.”
But Sarah Al -Zubayr, a member of the National Committee for the “Tafiaout Namazen” initiative, the Mohamed Shafiq session, denies “the existence of any differences or discussions between the owners of the Rabat and Marrakech.”
Al -Zubair added to Hespress that it is only about “different views, as the Rabat initiative was first announced, but some without knowing the reasons decided to go to Marrakech.”
The spokeswoman also stressed that the Rabat march “came without receiving any criticism or differences, and the same is for that in Marrakech, where no one is against her.”
A member of the National Committee for the “Tafiaout N Azigen” initiative, Mohamed Shafiq, confirms that “the two sides of Rabat and Marrakech are not among them the slightest form.”
On the other hand, Mohamed Kaddour, a graduate of the Amazigh cultural movement, believes that the choice of Marrakech was not a coincidence, but rather came after a long discussion, especially in light of the suffering of those affected by the constant earthquake under the tents. “
Kaddour was surprised by the presence of a march on the same day, which will be known to protest the conditions of those affected by the earthquake in the capital, Rabat, in honor of the intellectual stature, Muhammad Shafiq.
However, the spokesman added that “Shafiq is respected by the full spectra of the Amazigh movement, but the current situation requires standing next to the victims of the Al -Haouz earthquake.”
After Kaddour confirmed that there is no dispute with the organizers of the Rabat march, he pointed to “the expression of a number of Amazigh youth in Rabat about their desire to come to Marrakech in April.”
The same author stressed that “Marrakech is geographically close to many issues that receive the attention of Moroccans today, especially the Al -Haouz earthquake,” considering that “what happened is just a problem of communication.”
