These tours resulted in the confiscation and destruction of more than 3065 kilometers of corrupt vegetables and fruits, while the number of livestock that is not suitable for consumption reached 492 heads, was completely or partially executed, and disposed of them according to the health and environmental standards in force in the regular slaughterhouses.
The slaughterhouses, which are supervised by the Ministry’s branch in the region, received 36888 heads of livestock during the first days of Ramadan, and they are apparently examined before being slaughtered and entering the slaughterhouses, and detecting meat after slaughtering; To ensure her safety for human consumption, and follow up on the outlets of the sales outlets, according to strict health standards under the supervision of observers from specialized veterinarians.
These tours included the simultaneous and embarrassment in the public benefit markets, to follow up and monitor the commitment of the sellers to display the products in the right way, to verify the prices and electronic sales outlets, prevent the entry of violators of the residence system and the application of the list of penalties and fines to violators, and verify the presence of marketing licenses and meet Saudization requirements within the market.

Majid Al -Khalif, stressed the intensification of daily control tours on all public benefit markets, to ensure the fulfillment of food abundance, and to ensure the application of environmental requirements.
Stressing that alignment continues with all government agencies and the private sector, in a way that benefits and ensures the safety of consumers for agricultural and animal food products in the Makkah region and its provinces.
