“A group breakfast” collects religions in Rome

A first version of the “Ramadan Breakfast Table” organizes the Italian Rome, where the table shares belonging to multiple religions, including the Vatican Foreign Minister.

Raja Naji Makkawi, the Kingdom’s ambassador to the Holy See, says that this initiative, in which responsible religious names attend, on the occasion of Ramadan, “a strong invitation to the actual reconciliation between believers at various levels”, and “an important opportunity to launch a global message of love and coexistence.”

Makkawi continued: “Dating and mutual respect is an old path, which requires the participation of men and women with good intentions who decided to gather around the breakfast table in the month of Ramadan. We can only explore the beauty of our world through knowledge. ”

This event, which is expected to be organized on March 17, is among the thinking of “urgent issues”, such as: peace, hunger in the world, economic and social crises, and collective civil duties resulting from that.
