
The Ministry of Defense, represented by the General Administration of Strategic Communication, issued the number (208) of the “Defense” magazine, as part of a series of periodic publications that reflect the development and modernization process in the ministry.
The new issue dealt with a special file entitled “Military Alliances”, as well as a group of various topics that highlight the news and activities of the Ministry of Defense. The number also included a number of new chapters and chapters, such as: “Defense Leaders”, “from the legacy of defense”, “military readings and analyzes”, “Sarkh”, and “Reading in a Book”, in addition to files and press dialogues, and specialized articles for prominent writers in the fields of military and strategic studies, technology and information sciences.
The number also included two distinguished dialogues, the first with the commander of the unified military leadership of the Arab Gulf states, and the second with the Secretary -General of the Islamic Military Alliance to fight terrorism, dealing with the most prominent current military issues and challenges.
It is noteworthy that the “Defense” magazine is considered one of the oldest Arab military magazines, as its first issue was issued about 63 years ago under the name “The Saudi Arabian Army Magazine”, and it is published on a quarterly basis in two paper and electronic versions, and its editor -in -chief is headed by the Director General of the General Administration of Strategic Communication at the Ministry of Defense Abdul Rahman bin Sultan Al Sultan, and provides specialized content in military, defense and strategic affairs.
