The Syrian government and Druze leaders in As -Suwayda agree on the security aspects

The Governor of As -Suwayda and the spiritual leader of the Almohad Druze community, Al -Hijri ruled today (Wednesday) on the outlines to run the affairs of the province in the next stage, and integrate the Druze into Syrian society.

Syrian media reports stated that the understandings are still undergoing a continuous dialogue between the Syrian government and the Druze in As -Suwayda, including activating the judiciary, promoting security, organizing and integrating armed elements, preserving civil peace and preventing infringement of public and private properties, as well as a package of financial and administrative reforms in the governorate.

The sources pointed out that the Syrian government has concluded an agreement with the people and dignitaries of the As -Suwayda Governorate, which aims to fully integrate the province into the new Syrian state institutions.

The leader of what is known as the Al -Karama Men in the endosperm, Laith Al -Balous, had said in press statements that they are working to activate the role of public security in As -Suwayda and his elements will be within the province in southern Syria, indicating that the activation of public security came after meetings of the Suwayda factions with the ministries of defense and interior.

He explained that they took over the public security cars and will do the role of public security after preparing the elements from As -Suwayda, expressing his optimism in the implementation of what was previously agreed upon in terms of activating the role of the army of the Ministry of Defense, as well as the judicial police in the governorate, provided that the door for affiliation with the military units is opened in front of the sons of As -Suwayda and enhance their role in preserving its security and stability.

He pointed out that they participated in the liberation of Syria and will participate in its construction and the coming days carry good signs, stressing: Our position is clear towards our Syrian people and there is no homeland as a substitute for us to unified Syria on the ground and people.

He pointed out that the new administration understands the situation in the province of As -Suwayda and agrees with it to establish the pillars of the state.
