The Jeddah Governorate Municipality, in cooperation with the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority, the Ministry of Commerce, the Aziziyah sub -municipality, and the field seizure teams, were closed to two violating sites in the “Al -Ruwais” neighborhood, and more than 28,000 units of the “tobacco” products were confiscated, and large quantities of electrical devices for personal use and equipment used to imitate the country of origin were seized, as part of its continuous efforts to monitor and address phenomena The negativity in the province.
The Secretariat indicated that the field control teams in the General Administration of Monitoring and Treating Negative Phenomena, that they have seized an apartment that was informed in an irregular manner to store unknown “tobacco” products.
The Secretariat added that another apartment was seized used as an irregular warehouse, as large quantities of electrical appliances for personal use were seized, as well as equipment used to imitate the country of origin and distribute them in the markets.
The Jeddah Municipality affirmed the continuation of its supervisory efforts in cooperation with the competent authorities, calling on citizens and residents to report any violations through the official communications channels, in order to ensure the safety of the population and ensure the commitment of the markets to regular requirements.
