Fawzi Lakjaa, President of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation, considered that the electoral general assembly of the Confederation of African Football, which was held today in Cairo, has a special nature, in light of the proactive royal vision for more than 25, which was established for cooperation and Moroccan presence in the African continent.
In media statements, after his re -election as a member of the International Football Association Council, Gaaja pointed out that what was produced by the general assembly was a confirmation of the upward line that the Kingdom has taken in the field of football since 2015, in line with the rational policy of King Mohammed VI in his perception of Morocco’s ties to the continent and its countries.
He added: “Today, this upward line has emerged in confirming the presence of our country in the African circles with the vote that resulted in these results and a representative person of various countries within the continent.
He emphasized that the electoral general assembly of the “CAF”, which was held today, added “the nature of wrapping around Morocco and the royal leadership … which means that Morocco will be behind an entire continent in the upcoming demonstrations in support, work and harmony.”
It is worth noting that the membership of the UN Football Association of Football Assembly enhances its position in the African and international football scene, and qualifies it to be a member of the Executive Office of the Confederation of African Football (CAF), after he obtained 49 votes out of 52, with one canceled paper, according to Hasport.
The association also witnessed the re -election of the South African Patrice Motsby for a second term at the head of “Al -Kaf” by acclamation, after entering alone in the race to run for the presidency of the African football.
