A capsule in a law .. the mechanism of documenting the marriage contract from foreigners inside Egypt

The marriage is held and documented in foreigners in the Egyptian Ministry of Justice in the foreign marriage office, by following the stages and completing the following conditions:

1 The presence of the husband and wife with their person or an agent, provided that there is an official agency for marriage.

2 The presence of two Egyptian witnesses.

3 The difference between the spouses should be appropriate and supposed to not exceed 25 years.

4 The foreign residence in Egypt must be for the purpose of other than tourism. The seal of temporary residency is obtained on the passport from the Passports and Immigration Department, or a certificate of residency ».

5 The husband and wife’s age should not be less than 21 years.

6 Submit a certificate from the foreign party wishing to marry his embassy in J.A.

7 Submit another certificate from the foreign party wishing to marry his embassy stating that his country does not relieve marriage, and sometimes it is required to be ratified by the Egyptian Foreign Ministry.

8 Submit a medical examination certificate for the husband and wife from any government hospital “marriage examination”.

9 Submit 5 modern personal photos for both spouses.

10 Submit the birth certificate of the “Egyptian” husband to determine the name of the mother.

11 All documents are photographed by two photos of two lights «National ID Cards, passports and certificates.

Second: After completing the required papers and procedures, the Ministry of Justice, located in the field of Lazogli in Cairo, “Foreigners’ Marriage Office – Fourth Role ”, will be directed.

Third: After completing the writing and documentation of the marriage contract and the receipt of the contract, it will be sealed from the competent real estate month and is located next to the Cairo Bar Association, “Ambulance Square”, then it is documented by any documentation office affiliated with the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs “the Office of Friendships.

After completing all documentation procedures, the rest of the procedures will be met later in the foreign embassy of the husband «every embassy has its own requirements and requests to end the marriage procedures through her so that the husband is legally ready to travel and join his wife.
