While a statement of the Rusafa police stated that “at a time when we comfort the families and fans of the deceased, we show that the accident is not an assassination, but was due to a quarrel between the victim and his neighbors.”
The statement pointed out, “The Baghdad Governorate Police Command, Rusafa, is now conducting a search and search for the arrest of the perpetrator.”
