The country singers met at Globo Studios last Wednesday (20) to record the end-of-year special “Amigas”, which will be broadcast in December. The show marks an important moment for the recognition of women in country music, highlighting the feminijo’s success on the national scene.

The performance, which will air on December 18, after the 9 o’clock soap opera, will feature songs spanning the history of country music, from the viola craze to the biggest hits of today’s college country music.
During the show, the five artists pay tribute to great women who made history in country music, such as Roberta Miranda, As Galvão and Paula Fernandes, and close with “Supera”, a hit by the late Marília Mendonça. The moment was especially emotional for Maiara, who was moved to tears at the end of the recording.
