The Ministry of Health in the state of Khartoum, central Sudan, said that 8 people were killed, on Monday, by bombing the Rapid Support Forces on the northern Omdurman areas. The ministry said in a statement that “the rebel militia continued on Monday the violent and systematic bombing of the residential neighborhoods of the Karari locality, north of Omdurman, for the second day in a row at night, targeting civilians in the eighth and ten lane, at a time when the movement of citizens is active during the month of Ramadan during the night hours.”
The ministry pointed out that the shelling in which heavy artillery was used, killing 8 civilians and wounding four others who were treated in the hospital as a result of varying injuries to shrapnel.
The northern Omdurman region is the most vulnerable to the continuous artillery shelling by rapid support since the outbreak of the war, the bombing of the city of El -Fasher for nearly a year, while the city of Al -Abyad, west of the country, is facing similar bombing for more than ten days.
For its part, the coordination of the resistance committees, the city of El Fasher, said that the artillery shelling by the Rapid Support Forces continued for the fourth consecutive day, and hit the various neighborhoods of the city and the camps of the displaced, without mentioning the number of victims.
Earlier on Monday, the Sudanese army spokesman, Brigadier Nabil Abdullah, announced that a force of armored weapons at the headquarters of the Army in the center of the capital, Khartoum. The first tenant came since the outbreak of the war, about two years ago, as the Rapid Support Forces imposed a siege on the headquarters of the army and continued to attack the Armored weapon headquarters south of Khartoum. Brigadier Abdullah said in an angry statement, which was distributed to the media, that the cohesion took place “after the People’s Educational Hospital was cleared of the Al -Daklo militia.”
