Under instructions from the Supreme Commander and Chief of Staff of the General War of the Royal Armed Forces, King Mohammed VI, Lieutenant General Mohamed Brigal, Inspector General of the Royal Armed Forces, Commander of the Southern Region, is a work visit to Saudi Arabia in the period between 16 and 21 March 2025.
A communiqué of the General Command of the Royal Armed Forces stated that the Inspector General of the Royal Armed Forces held a meeting during this visit with the first team, Fayyad bin Hamed Al -Ruwaili, Chief of the General Staff of the Saudi Armed Forces, where various aspects of bilateral military cooperation were discussed under the wise leadership of the two countries’ leaders.
On this occasion, the communication adds, the two officials praised the level of friendship and good cooperation between the armed forces of the Saudi and Moroccan kingdoms, as well as the positive outcome achieved by their fruitful bilateral cooperation.
The activities of Break in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia also included a visit to the headquarters of the Islamic Military Alliance to fight terrorism, where he was briefed on tasks as well as methods of coordination and cooperation between all members of the field of combating terrorism and extremism, which aims to enhance security and stability in the region.
The communication concluded that the visit of the Inspector General of the Royal Armed Forces, the commander of the southern region, to the Saudi homes and his meeting with the Chief of Staff of the Saudi Armed Forces, falls within the framework of supporting friendship and cooperation between the Royal Armed Forces and their Saudi counterparts, and aims to enhance bilateral military cooperation as well as discuss ways to deepen this cooperation to include fields and issues of common concern.
