US President Donald Trump said on Friday that he was “a little sarcastic” when he claimed a lot as a candidate that he would solve the war problem between Russia and Ukraine within 24 hours, even before he took office. Trump received a question about his pledge that he presented during his election campaign, during an interview with the “Fall Migger” television program, while his administration is still trying to mediate to end the war 54 days after he took office.
“Well, I was a little satirical when I said that, what I really mean is that I would like to solve the problem and I will do it, I think I will succeed,” Trump said in a video clip that was broadcast before broadcasting tomorrow Sunday. This was a rare recognition of Trump, who has a long record of exaggerated allegations.
In response to a question in the interview about what the plan will be if Russian President Vladimir Putin does not agree to the ceasefire in the war he started three years ago, Trump said, “It will be bad news for this world because many people die.” “But I think he will agree, I think this really, I think I know him well, and I think he will agree,” he added.

Trump said on Friday that Ukraine accepted the ceasefire and that Russia could also be persuaded. In a press statement, Trump explained that his country had very good talks with Russia and Ukraine, and that he had received good news in this regard. He added: “Ukraine has accepted the ceasefire, and we can persuade Russia, although this will be difficult. We receive good responses.”
Trump criticized his predecessor in the position, Joe Biden, because of the war in Ukraine, saying: “He should never have been involved with Russia. He would not have allowed this war.” Trump stated that about 2000 young people were dying daily due to the Russian -Ukrainian war, and that all developments were heading towards a third world war.
